Hello

I would like to show you our project, and see what options you have for what we need made. We have a microscope that houses a laser and a light source in the head.  We have milled a cover out of aluminum with our cnc and we have had a sheet metal case built by someone local.  But both options will not work as our company grows. We would like to go to some type of injection molded or 3d printed case.  Please look at the pictures below and let me know what you think how you could help us.  Do you do small quantities, or only large quantity piece work?

For your information, we can provide CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Sheet metal and Injection molding services. We provide both plastic and metal materials, like Aluminum, Steel, Brass, PP, PC, ABS, PMMA…Therefore, we can meet your requirements on any material in our ability. Yes, we do small quantities in prototypes and large quantity piece in injection molding. 

Meanwhile, I have checked below pictures of parts you made by CNC Machine. We think it should be possible to make them by CNC machine and sheet metal according to the features of products, so we also agree to use the two options for manufacturing. To evaluate the products better, would you please provide CAD files to us? we can evaluate the first design and can give you more suggestions, do you think?

As for the color you mentioned, we will suggest to do anodized for aluminum and the logo can be engraved or silk screen.

Summary:

Finally, customer decided to give us a chance to test our quality and choose SLA 3D Printing for these cases, purple painted surface. And the initial qty is 2 sets for testing. Customer is satisfied with our quality and have second order.
