CNC Machining
By Nice Rapid | May 14 , 2020

CNC Machining is the abbreviation of Computer numerical control machine tools; it is an automatic machine tool equipped with a program control system. The control system can logically process the program specified by the control code or other known symbol commands, decode it, express it with coded numbers, and input it into the numerical control device through the information carrier. After the arithmetic processing, various control signals are issued by the numerical control device to control the movement of the machine tool, and the parts are automatically processed according to the shape and size required by the drawing.

Therefore, CNC machining has the advantages of stable machining quality, high machining accuracy, high repeat accuracy, machining complex surfaces, and high machining efficiency. In the actual processing process, human factors and operating experience will also largely affect the final processing quality.

So, what principles should be followed for the cnc machining sequence?

The arrangement of the processing sequence should be considered according to the structure of the part and the condition of the blank, as well as the need for positioning and clamping. The important point is that the toughness of the workpiece is not destroyed. The sequence should generally follow the following principles:

1.The cnc processing of the previous step cannot affect the positioning and clamping of the next step, and the processing steps of the general machine tool interspersed in the middle should also be considered.

2.Carry out the inner cavity and inner cavity first, then the outer shape processing.

3.It is better to carry out the processing with the same positioning and clamping method or the same tool cnc in order to reduce the number of repeated positioning, the number of tool changes and the number of moving pressure plates.

4.For the multiple processes performed in the same installation, the process with little rigidity damage to the workpiece should be arranged first.
